Warranty Information
WoodTech Industries is not responsible for information that is submitted incorrectly when ordering. Please review your confirmation for any errors or changes that need to be made. Once the job is confirmed and put into production no more changes can be made. WTI will charge accordingly for any changes that are made after the job is put into production.
WTI recommends components are stored or installed in temperature ranges of 65-75 degrees with 35%-45% humidity levels. It is recommended to allow your doors an acclimation period of 24-48 hours after arriving at your facility. Doors must be sealed or finished within two weeks of arrival for warranty to be valid.
Shrinking or expansion of doors is not covered. Seam lines being visible due to shrinking or expansion are normal and not considered a defect. Painted components are particularly prone to seam lines where the stile and rail joint meets.
Natural characteristics of wood such as mineral streaks, burl, grain patterns, pin knots, etc. are not considered defects. Color and grain patterns are matched to the best of our ability.
Damage cause by acts of God, fire, flood, or other influences out of our control are not covered. WTI is not liable for damage caused by storage, improper handling, or installation by the customer. Damage caused by normal wear and tear is not covered.
WTI is not responsible for expenses involved with removal, installation, or finishing of replacement products.
Mitered joints may open/close with changes of the season. Replacements will be provided if joint becomes structurally unstable.
Doors that are made with a ¼” veneer panel may have a stain color variation compared to the wooden frames. WTI is not responsible for any finishing issues incurred when using a ¼” veneer panel.
Rustic wood disclaimer. WTI will not warranty a rustic door if the customer does not like the appearance of a knot (shape, color, size, texture, etc.) We do our best to keep knots closed and sound but with removal of material they may open up, especially on our reverse flat panels. Knots interfering with hardware placement are not deemed defective. WTI will not replace a rustic item lacking knots or rustic characteristics.
No warranty will be provided on products made from customer supplied lumber.
Components made with circle sawn or skipped circle sawn lumber tend to warp or twist due to their manufacturing process. Any warping or twisting on these products will not be covered under our warranty.
Doors with a warp or twist greater than 3/16” must hang for one year to acclimate. If the door is still warped beyond 3/16” after this period, it will be deemed defective and replaced. Doors with a height over 48” that have no center rail will not be covered under the warranty.
Door sizes are manufactured within tolerances of +/- 3/64”. Doors that are out of square over 3/32” from corner to corner will be replaced.
All components are subject to a final quality control check. Any item not meeting our standards will be reworked or replaced at our discretion.
The warranty coverage is effective for one year from the original purchase date.
